About the name

Where did 'Sprinkles Sparkles Sugar' come from? I spent ages trying to come up with the perfect name. I wanted something which obviously had a connection to my business, without limited my future developments. I'm starting off with cupcakes, but that's not to say I'll always just sell cupcakes. I looked back over the cakes I've made recently & I noticed they all have some sort of sparkles / sprinkles / glitter on them... because who doesn't love a bit of sparkle? As for the sugar? Well, cupcakes just wouldn't be cupcakes without sugar. They make you smile, they are a sweet treat, and indulgence to me means sugar.

Hi, Welcome & thanks for visiting my page. I am a multi-tasking mama to two gorgeous cheeky monkeys, a primary school teacher and a life-long baker. I have always loved baking, I distinctly remember attempting my first cake on my own when I was around 9 years old, but in my inexperience, I somehow managed to use cheese, salt and the wrong flour. Luckily, since then I have learned a lot and I am super excited to launch my business later this year.  Over the last few years, as a family we have been transitioning to vegan due to a combination of allergies and an increased awareness of animal-cruelty in the food industry. Well, I wasn't going to let this keep me from a good cupcake. Vegans and non-vegans alike have been pleasantly surprised by how light, fluffy and flavourful my cakes are.
